now operate their own sustainable business

If there's one thing we've learned in South Africa, it's that a little can go a long way.
Art Aids Art is working to support unemployed women in the community surrounding eKhaya eKasi Art & Education Center. This pilot project incorporates training in silkscreening and beadwork, along with basic skills in small business marketing.
Because of the favorable exchange rate (more than 7 rand to the dollar), a modest donation can have a major impact in helping a woman to become self-sufficient as an artisan.
YOUR $50 DONATION enables a woman to complete an 8-week skills training course that will set her on course to create her own original crafts and earn a sustainable income.
Art Aids Art will provide further support by inviting her to showcase her first creations at eKhaya eKasi's Art Boutique.
