Honoring Judith Zitter Art Aids Art is establishing a healthy snack shop at its future education and microbusiness center in Khayelitsha, South Africa.
- provide steady income and training in food service to formerly unemployed local residents. - generate funds to sustain operation of the center by serving tourists. - on a sliding scale, offer low-cost, highly nutritious snacks to local residents who lack access to healthy prepared food. The shop will be named J.Z.'s Tea Shop in honor of Judith's life of service and her passion for collecting tea pots. Art Aids Art will hold a formal christening ceremony at the center on December 27, 2008, Judith's birthday. Memorial gifts will be directed to support the establishment of J.Z's Tea Shop. Secure donations can be made below in the Donate box. Credit cards and PayPal are accepted. We also accept contributions by mail.
